Website accessibility

We have designed and developed our website to ensure as many users as possible can use it, including people with:

  • disabilities who may use assistive technologies
  • slower internet connections
  • hand-held devices and mobile phones.

If you experience difficulty accessing any of the information on our website, please refer to our accessibility information.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) publishes a set of guidelines called Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These guidelines presently set the international standard for web accessibility. There are three levels of conformance (A, AA and AAA).

As part of our commitment to accessibility, we currently aim to meet WCAG 2.1 conformance level AA for all content published on our website.

Social media

We use social media to increase awareness about our services and activities and to refer consumers to relevant information resources and assistance.

We monitor our social media accounts during business hours Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. We try to respond to queries by the end of the next business day.

Energy and water consumers, and other stakeholders, can send us queries or comments about matters relevant to our jurisdiction. We welcome open and respectful discussion of issues relevant to external dispute resolution.

Positive and negative feedback is helpful to us, and to maintain a respectful environment for everyone in our social media community and compliance with Australian law, we set guidelines for your contributions.

If you have any suggestions or concerns, please contact us.
