We’re bringing important services to Atherton, Mossman and Innisfail from 28–30 October 2025 to make it easier for you to get the help you need. These free events are open to everyone in the community and brings people together with their service provider and support services to share information, resolve problems and receive help.

Life can be stressful when bills pile up or you’re not sure where to turn for help. These events are here to make things easier. You’ll be able to:

  • Get advice on managing bills and debts.
  • Learn about concessions and rebates you might be missing out on.
  • Get help with complaints about financial services like banks, superannuation and credit providers.
  • Talk about internet and phone service issues with nbn and Optus.
  • Talk about electricity and gas issues with Ergon Retail.
  • Connect with local support organisations for help with managing money.
  • Get advice on your consumer rights, complaints and scams.
