Before you contact EWOQ with your complaint, you must first try to resolve the problem with your electricty, gas or water company.

EWOQ provides a fair and independent dispute resolution service for energy and water customers and suppliers. To meet this obligation, EWOQ cannot comment on individual people, companies or investigations, as this may compromise the privacy of customers who have made a complaint as well as disadvantage/advantage energy or water suppliers.

The Ombudsman is not able to comment on government policy (which is out of EWOQ's jurisdiction). However, the Ombudsman welcomes public and open discussion on systemic issues affecting consumers in relation to the energy and water industries.
