If you experience more than a specified number of power outages in any one financial year, or a single power outage that lasts longer than a specified length of time, you may be entitled to a rebate.
The threshholds vary depending on what type of feeder (powerline) you are on. Contact your energy supplier to find out more.
The rebate should automatically be applied to your account. If not, you can lodge a claim with your energy supplier. If your claim is rejected, and you believe you're entitled to it, you can contact us for assistance. We may be able to help.
